The Young Jedi Collectible Card Game is Decipher's fast paced battling card game based on Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace. It's no wonder Gamers Inquest magazine named Young Jedi "CCG of the Year" in its annual fan poll. You hold your favorite characters, starships, weapons, vehicles and planets in your hands. Every time you play the game, you retell the story of Anakin Skywalker, Darth Maul and Queen Amidala, shaping with your choices and play the destiny of the whole Star Wars universe.

You may guide the evil Sith and their Trade Federation counterparts, and in your next game, lead the honorable Jedi and their Gungan allies against them!

Young Jedi is a "collectible card game". You can collect a universe of tens, hundreds, even thousands, of cards when you get fixed Starter Decks or randomly assorted Booster Packs or any of the special Young Jedi card sets to come. Then there's the fun of trading cards to get the cards you truly prize.

And, since this is a card game that really rocks, you'll find it fun to build your own 60-card Light Side or Dark Side deck, and play it against friends with strategies of their own. May the best deck (and player) win!

As your playing skills and your collection of cards grows, you can make changes to your deck in between games - and in this way you never play the same game twice! So grab your deck, grab a friend, and let the epic struggle of good and evil begin!

YOUNG JEDI: REFLECTIONS Young Jedi Reflections

Released on 18th July 2001, Decipher gives its Young Jedi Collectible Card Game the stunning Reflections treatment — and uses the opportunity to hint at the following expansion set, Boonta Eve Podrace.

Similar to Reflections II — the widely successful Star Wars CCG expansion set — Young Jedi Reflections will combine multiple elements to create the most action-packed Young Jedi product ever released.

The 100 premium cards injected in Young Jedi Reflections include the following:

Foil cards. The 60 different foils include rare cards not foiled in previous expansion sets, and also 12 exciting preview rare cards from the next Young Jedi set, Boonta Eve Podrace! Expect to see Kitster and TC-14 in there, among other often requested characters.

Armed & Dangerous Characters. The 12 Armed & Dangerous Characters are cards with built-in weapons. Players will never need to face an opponent empty handed again! These cards will feature characters that haven’t been presented in a special format yet.

Double Impact Cards. These 14 special cards combine two Battle Cards (or one Battle Card and one Effect) on a single card, allowing the player to choose the desired gameplay.

Combo Battle Cards. 14 new cards that pack the benefits of two Battle Cards onto a single card. And no dilemma here — both benefits apply all the time!

Every 20-card Reflections pack will contain one foil card, two premium cards, and 17 cards from previous expansion sets, which might feature German cards.

"Most of the premium cards here are aimed at bringing overlooked elements back to the forefront," says Young Jedi Lead Designer Chuck Kallenbach. "We constantly strive to keep the Young Jedi tournament environment balanced and diversified, and Reflections is a very good way to accomplish this."
